When Theodore DuCasse of Zanzo asked me if I ever blog about men’s skins, I had to reply no… not that I wouldn’t, just that, I AM a girl and all, and not always so comfortable shape shifting (well, other than the occasional boob slider to fit into a pose!) I’ve been more experimental lately, blogged some shapes other than mine, so, when he asked if I wanted to have a look at his new Seraphim skins I thought “why not be a boy for a bit?” Of course, I had to message Feles right away and ask her to join me.
Apparently, Feles has a little experience styling guys and even had a guy shape ready to go and was set in about 10 minutes. Not me though, I had no idea where to start so I put on one of the Seraph skins and one of the shapes Theo passed to me and went to work on the sliders. I still wanted to look unique, even if I had no idea what the heck I was doing. While I was working, Feles went off to set up the scene with all the things guys love*: pizza, beer, and porn. lol in fact, when she said to me “I’ll set up boxes to look at” I know she was up to something… yeah, she textured them with porn.
The skins in the Seraphim line are soft and young looking, you won’t find facial hair options here… well, that isn’t entirely true, you do get your choice of light or dark eyebrows. Here’s boy Ely in the super sweet freckled option that made me feel about 16, and Feles in the bare option, I don’t think he’s of legal drinking age yet either.
I went to check out the full series at the shop, there are lots of choices with the Seraphim line. Theo must have decided that I wouldn’t be comfortable being a boy with pink lipstick, but if that is what you are into, you will find it there! He did however, pass over some fun eye makeup.
I admit this was a HUGE challenge. There is very little in my inventory that would qualify as unisex, and I don’t exactly spend a hell of a lot of time around SL guys. If any guy designers want to contribute to the cause I’d love to do it again!
*re: things guys love- yes I know that “pizza, beer and porn” is stereotyping guys… but are we wrong?
