When I first came to SL, I used to do a lot of exploring. I enjoyed tping around to random places and checking out different sims. The residents of SL are so creative; finding new builds and new shops was always a thrill. Between my blog, my clothing line, and my photography, I don’t have as much time for that as I used to. Yesterday I decided to take a breath and give myself some me time. I headed over to the beautiful Chakryn Forest to enjoy the scenery.
The weather is getting pretty cold in my part of the RL world, so I decided to indulge in a little warm weather fantasizing as an excuse to wear as little as possible. The Paris Top by Iki Ikarus of Dutch Touch is not for the modest and the shorts from Iki’s Afri set are as short as they can be without letting your ass completely hang out. Dutch Touch clothing always has fantastic textures and lots of personality, and is one of those SL brands that I’ve been collecting for a long time.
I’ve been watching everybody rock their Dutch Touch skins, and when I saw this makeup, Breeze, on the River skin I knew it was going to become part of my skin collection. The blue and green shadow on the eyes is just beautiful, and the perfect colors to use in customizing the new Stella jewelry set from Tekeli-li. I love starry-themed accessories and, like most jewelry from Tekeli-li, Stella has dozens of color options for the metals and gemstones to chose from.
One thing I have learned from my RL hiking and exploring experiences, is the importance of a good backpack. I spent a few weeks researching and trying on packs looking for just the right thing a few years ago before a trip to Portugal/Spain; luckily in SL I don’t have to worry if it’s going to sit right on my back or chafe my shoulders!
