Wow! Wings are everywhere this weekend; how exciting! I love that people are taking an opportunity to explore their fae/butterfly/angel/demon/bird/insert-mythical-creature-here sides. I’m going to take this week to completely immerse myself in the wing mania going on and photograph some of my old favorites and new finds. I am sure I can talk some friends into indulging in the fantasy with me.
Seven’s Selections Ragged Fairy Wings, Natural Pack, Violet and Cyan. OMG you get like 17 different colors in the pack. Hud controlled, the size is adjustable – this is “xtra large” and they go all the way down to micro size. You can customize transparency and you can have them droopy or not and have different settings for flying and landing they are terrific! You can set the wings to flap, or not, I always go with flap.

I picked up this Peacock Goddess Lingerie from LoveLace just the other day and when I spied the Fancy Fairy’s Goblin Wings in Green at WingFling I flung off what I was wearing put on the lingerie and the wings. I went searching for a place to shoot with a frantic “Must find place to shoot right now!” urgency. I thought of how peacocks are often seen roaming around big estate gardens. I found Camelot Gardens, how perfect!

The Lorelle Fairy Butterfly Wings from Material Squirrel debuted this weekend at WingFling; the texture is just…ahhh /me drools… these are my new favorite wings, I think, for right now. That might change tomorrow. Material Squirrel wings are also hud controlled, allowing you to change wing size and span, flapping, landing settings and more. You can also flutter, droop and embrace on command.
