A couple of days ago, I did a small photo series focusing on PXL’s new Linda Dark; today I’ve swung to the totally opposite end of the spectrum with a Fair set.
This skin tone might be too light for most people day to day, but is absolutely gorgeous and you should find an excuse to wear it. If you have ever handled well crafted porcelain, it’s close to white, but not quite. When it’s done right, the light has a way of almost passing through it, but gets captured inside and the piece seems to have a luminescence. Linda Fair is like that; I felt all pure and glowy wearing it, quite ethereal actually.
Taking that ethereal tone as inspiration, I created a romantic, moonlit set, the very antithesis of my hard apocalyptic images for Linda Dark.
It doesn’t get more romantic than white lingerie and satin sheets. The bed is from Rustica, and is a photographers dream. Click the bed to bring up a color change menu, click the canopy curtain tassels to open and close two sides or all four. Plus, right click to pose on a sleeping animation and watch the blanket rez to cover you.
The lingerie set, Ciera by Tuli, is no longer available in stores, but is an example of the incredible textures found in all of Tuli’s work. By texture I mean both the patterns and prints of her clothing as well as the (virtual) material itself.
None of this would look nearly as good if it weren’t for the pose designers. The top image uses a pose from Torridwear’s Benchwarmer set, these are terrific seated poses with personality. The pose in this second shot is also from Torrid, from the vain set, great standing poses.
The pose in this final image is from ANIMAH and…..why in the world haven’t I ever purchased poses there before? /me crawls out from under the rock. When cycling through the “Nude shooting poses” set in the shop last week, I was wondering why there seemed to be two versions of some poses…so I read the pose names and saw things like “barefoot” “high heeled” “bigger bewbs” and “bigger hips”. Alternate versions of the poses for different AVs or shoe selection? Right click > buy.
