Photographing SL is about the art of photographing my favorite elements of Second Life. There is so much creativity here to be celebrated and I am thankful for the amazing content creators out there who provide the genius behind everything I photograph. My focus is fashion and fashion related items, but I love to incorporate props and other design elements. I sometimes shoot studio style but more often than not I create little sets or shoot on location. To me, putting the fashion in context (even if it’s strange or outrageous!) and setting a mood can create a much richer image.

I started this blog in 2008, and don’t blog on a regular basis anymore, but I do have occasionally bursts of activity, especially around fairs and events. I don’t always blog the latest releases, and I will admit to having favorite designers that I blog often… but mostly it’s about finding stuff that I really like and creating images that capture the fashion, design and moods of Second Life.

Elysium Eilde (that’s me!) I’ve been working with digital imaging and Photoshop since 1997. Photoshop and photography are my passion, and Second Life has given me an environment where I can explore photography beyond my wildest imagination. I also own *elymode* clothing, cosmetics, & poses.

Feles Seitan encouraged me to begin this blog in 2008 and is often seen posing with me or El. She’s usually willing to stay up till 3am to work on a shoot with me, and she’s always willing to purchase any items I think would look good in my shot! Shooting with Feles always makes it more fun. Plus, we can bitch about guys while we work.

Elysiana Eilde, my sl sister – my alter ego – many people have guessed by now that our RL counterpart is the same. She is way cuter than I but don’t be fooled, if you run into her in world she is way more obnoxious, and damn proud of it
