Because these are my personal works, I would appreciate it if creators and designers do not download them for any commercial use such as store posters or advertising without first contacting me. I am also available for custom commercial work, just get in touch.

PhotographingSL.com, as the name implies, is all about the photography. My goal with each photo is to create a beautiful or interesting image, and equally important, to highlight the details of the subject of the shot. I spend a good deal of time arranging the shots in world, letting my background and education in commercial arts lead me to capture shots with strong composition. Clarity and detail are my focus when processing the images, allowing me to enhance what I see in SL without sacrificing the integrity of the original content.

It should be obvious that most of my photos are heavily modified in Photoshop. There are lots of bloggers who post unedited photos with more neutral light, and those are better resources if you are looking for a true representation of the item in SL. I trust that you will consider vendor photos and demos when contemplating a purchase. Rest assured though, I don’t blog anything that I don’t love or that I am not proud to wear; and I’ve got high standards.

The photos on this blog are part of my personal project, Photographing SL. In general the photos have not been commissioned or paid for by designers or models, though I will occasionally include commercial shots if they are personal to me or part of a special project.
